Easter 2010

Today was Easter. I had a blast. We went to the zoo. I saw a panda and a lion. We also saw two dead frogs on the street. I got a stuffed animal. It was a baby tiger cub. We saw an elephant that was 62 years old and was a girl. We saw another girl elephant that was 34 years old and she had a baby boy that was 8 years old.
So back to Easter: I got a large lamb for Easter.

Tonight, my sister, Anna dropped a skateboard on her toe. I had to be a doctor. We called the real doctor. They made a checkup for her toe. Then after dinner we played Pictureka. It is a cool game like I-Spy. Then I colored in a coloring book I got for Easter. then I decided to write about my day. Happy Easter.

About honeybees?
How do they ever know�
How to make that honey?

About the honeybee�s stinger?
Watch out! It can get you!
They also have a bird�
As an enemy!
They are black and yellow�
They have stripes�
They have huge eyes�
And they make a sound�

My mom is presenting at a conference tomorrow and they wanted to know what I know about Blackboard. Look at my video. My mom did a cool job putting it together. I talked all about how Mrs. Spaulding uses Blackboard with my class.

Bengal Tigers

I studied tigers at school and my mom and I made this cool movie. We found pictures on the internet and put them on a movie. I wrote the things to say and my mom recorded me. My teacher put this on our class blog and my class wrote comments to me. It was cool.

Measuring with my feet

Mrs. Spaulding taught us to measure using out feet. We had to go from the door to the computers and other stuff. It was fun, so my daddy and I did it at home. My daddy has big feet. Click on the link to listen.

Animal Museum

This is my Beaver project I did at home. It was really fun. We painted sticks and made a beaver's home. We painted it too. At school I researched grizzly bears. That was fun too.

We had a museum at school and saw all kinds of animals. It was fun.

Symmetry

I have learned about symmetry. It is cool. Symmetry is the same on both sides. I drew pictures of symmetry things in my notebook. I wrote Mrs. Spaulding's name with symmetry. I did symmetry in the computer lab and tried to make a dog.
